Joe Jahraus Joe Jahraus (Founder and Artistic Director) was most recently seen in Profiles' Midwest Premieres of Things We Said Today and autobahn by Neil LaBute, which received an After Dark Award for Outstanding Ensemble. Other recent appearances at Profiles include Carl in The Glory of Living, Berman in Reparation and Matt in Noise. Joe received a 1999 Jeff Citation Nomination for Ensemble for his performance as Wells in Stray Dogs. He has previously been seen in Profiles' productions of Wonder of the World, Snakebit, Jump to Cow Heaven, Some Voices, Dogs Barking, Popcorn, Eye of God, Paddywack, The Baby Dance, Geography of a Horse Dreamer, Glengarry Glen Ross, The Twilight Zone: The Series, How the Other Half Loves, The Water Engine, Minor Demons, Orphans, Battery, and True West. Joe's directing credits with Profiles include the Midwest Premiere of Some Girl(s) by Neil LaBute, the American Premiere of Apple and the long-running hit Fat Pig, for which he received a Jeff Citation Nomination for Outstanding Director. He also directed the Jeff Citation winning Blackbird, Babylon Gardens, the Jeff Citation nominated Carnal Knowledge and Sexual Perversity in Chicago. He also co-directed Profiles' productions of The Water Engine, The Twilight Zone: The Series and How the Other Half Loves. Joe has designed numerous sets for Profiles including Stray Dogs, for which he received a 1999 Jeff Citation nomination for Set Design.

Darrell Cox Darrell W. Cox (Associate Artistic Director) was most recently seen as Guy in the Midwest Premiere of Some Girl(s) by Neil LaBute and as Andy in the American Premiere of Apple by Vern Thiessen at Profiles Theatre. Prior to that, he was seen as Tom in the Midwest Premiere of Neil LaBute's Fat Pig. He has appeared at the Goodman in The Shawl and Home as part of the David Mamet Festival and at Steppenwolf in the World Premiere of Men of Tortuga, the Midwest Premiere of Orange Flower Water (which also traveled to the Galway Arts Festival), and the World Premiere of Wendall Greene. He has won three Joseph Jefferson Citations for Principal Actor for his work in Profiles' productions of Blackbird, Some Voices, and Eye of God. In addition, he has received two After Dark Awards for Outstanding Performance for Profiles' productions of Popcorn and Carnal Knowledge. Darrell's directing credits include Profiles' Midwest Premiere of "Coax" and the titular play in the evening of Neil LaBute shorts, Things We Said Today and the Midwest Premeire of autobahn, also by Neil LaBute. Prior to that, he directed The Radiant Abyss by Angus MacLachlan, and Wonder of the World by David Lindsay-Abaire. Appearances in other Profiles' productions include Reparation, Snakebit, Jump to Cow Heaven, Dogs Barking, Babylon Gardens, Paddywack, The Baby Dance, Geography of a Horse Dreamer, Glengarry Glen Ross, Zara Spook and Other Lures, The Twilight Zone: The Series, How the Other Half Loves, The Water Engine, Minor Demons, Orphans, Battery and True West.

Eric Burgher Eric Burgher (Company Member) most recently appeared in “Land of the Dead” as part of Profiles’ Midwest Premiere of Neil LaBute shorts, Things We Said Today. Prior to that, he appeared as Carter in the Midwest Premiere of Fat Pig by Neil LaBute. Eric received an After Dark Award for Outstanding Ensemble in "Bench Seat" as part of Profiles' Midwest Premiere of autobahn. He was also seen as Steve in The Glory of Living, Steve Enloe in The Radiant Abyss, and as Dan in Noise. Eric is a graduate from Columbia College, where he appeared as Tupolski in The Pillowman, Pato in The Beauty Queen of Leenane, and Nottingham in Prufrock. He was awarded the Columbia College Freshman Achievement in Theatre Award, as well as the Liberace Foundation Scholarship for Acting. Eric's other Profiles' credits include Sound Designer on Things We Said Today, Some Girl(s), Apple, Fat Pig, autobahn, The Glory of Living, The Radiant Abyss, Reparation and Noise, as well as Assistant Director for Apple and Assistant Director/Stage Manager on Blackbird, Wonder of the World, Snakebit, and Jump to Cow Heaven.

Julie Zarlenga Julie Zarlenga (Company Member) was most recently seen in Profiles' Midwest Premieres of Some Girl(s) and autobahn by Neil LaBute. She was also the Assistant Director for the evening of Neil LaBute shorts, Things We Said Today. Prior to that, Julie was the stage manager for Profiles' productions of The Glory of Living and the Midwest Premiere of The Radiant Abyss. As an actress she has also appeared in Proof at the Box Theatre, A View from the Bridge with the Palindrome Ensemble and Crimes of the Heart at the Showcase Theatre. Julie has studied at Profiles Theatre, Actors Center, Victory Gardens, Act One Studios and the IO Theatre.

Paul Jaquith Paul Jaquith (Company Member) was most recently seen in “Coax” as part of the Midwest Premiere of Things We Said Today. He was also the stage manager for Profiles' Midwest Premieres of autobahn and Fat Pig by Neil LaBute. Prior to that, Paul was recently seen as Harpo Marx in Groucho: A Life in Revue at Chicago Jewish Theatre. He also played the role of The Steward in Into the Woods at Buffalo Theatre Ensemble and Charlie Brown in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown at Lincoln Square Theater. He has understudied roles for both Drury Lane Oakbrook and The Artistic Home. Some of Paul's regional credits include Seth/Shem in Children of Eden, Mendel in Fiddler on the Roof and J.Pierrepont Finch in How to Succeed in Business... Paul received his B.A. in Theatre Arts from Furman University and has taken numerous classes at Profiles.

Somer Benson Somer Benson (Company Member) is the newest member of Profiles Theatre. She was most recently seen in “Coax” as part of Profiles' Midwest premiere of Things We Said Today by Neil LaBute. Some of her other favorite productions include Proof, Collected Stories, and Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. Somer is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (CA) and has also studied at Profiles Theatre. 

Greg Yaeger Greg Yaeger (Company Member) last appeared onstage with Profiles as Cody in Geography of a Horse Dreamer. Prior to that Greg played Aaronow in Profiles' production of Glengarry Glen Ross. Other Profiles credits include appearances in Death Knocks, The Twilight Zone: The Series, How the Other Half Loves, The Water Engine, Rumors and Dogg's Hamlet. Greg has also been seen in Zymotic Theatre Company's productions of Ball Boys and The Popcorn Knot.

Sal V. Armano (Company Member) has been a member of Profiles Theatre since 1993. Primarily a costume designer, Sal has designed costumes for numerous Profiles productions including Babylon Gardens, Eye of God, The Baby Dance, Minor Demons, and Carnal Knowledge. He received his BA in Speech and Drama from Trinity University in San Antonio where he designed the costumes for Have You Seen Packy? and the World Premiere musical, Dale's Rail. Sal has also worked with the company as a Props Master and set dressing coordinator.

Wayne Karl (Technical Staff) has long been a fan and supporter of Profiles Theatre and its ensemble. A graduate from the University of Iowa, Wayne has designed or assisted with most technical aspects of the company's productions including sound design, lighting, set construction for such shows as Stray Dogs, Babylon Gardens, Eye of God, Paddywack and The Baby Dance. He also works as a graphic designer and has created many of the company's posters and artwork.
