True West

Shepard's brilliant comedy-drama follows the volatile relationship of two estranged brothers. Austin, a Hollywood screenwriter, is visited by his brother, Lee, a mysterious drifter. At first, Lee resents Austin's successful lifestyle. But when Austin's producer enters the picture, the tables are turned as Lee convinces him to accept an idea for a "true-life western." As the roles are reversed, a battle of wills ensues, leading to an explosive climax.
