Alan Ayckbourn's classic farce, HOW THE OTHER HALF LOVES, centers on three middle-class couples of varying affluence. Fiona and Bob are having an affair and to throw off their suspicious spouses, they pretend to have been comforting another couple, the eccentric, socially inept Featherstones, whom they barely know. The Featherstones are invited to dinner parties by the other couples, but Ayckbourn mixes everything up by placing both homes, one rich and one poor, on stage at the same time. Extravagant lies and mistaken identities are brought together with hilarious results.
"Ayckbourn's innovative play is given a well crafted and very funny production!"
"An astonishing achievement of stagecraft as the play moves backwards and forwards through time to uproarious effect!"
