Dogg's Hamlet

Tom Stoppard takes his talent for wordplay and double meanings to its extreme in DOGG'S HAMLET. The members of a boys school, played by adults, speak a new language called "Dogg." The students prepare for an awards ceremony to be followed by the school's fifteen minute production of "Hamlet" in that strange foreign language - English! This was the second production in Profiles Dark Night Series.

"There's a ton of intellectual fun in this merry spoof of human talk as the staging stays on top of the dazzling word play!"

- Lawrence Bommer, CHICAGO READER

"A sidesplitting performance with Stoppard's hilarious language. The cast handles it well, with brisk pacing and some fine physical comedy!"

- Tim Sheridan, NEW CITY
